Gallup Catholic High School Drama Presents: A Pirate's Life For Me

The play is great fun--a rousing pirate musical in Disney fashion.  A young woman is bord with her boring aristocratic beau and wants to run off and be a pirated queen.  But the beau decides he really wants her so he becomes a pirate too.  And the real pirates: well, Bluebeard has retired to an island paradise and drinks maui-maui's all day with his serving girls along a poet and an artist who run (rousing and untrue) publicity for him in bottles sent out to sea.  And Long Sliver(not a misspelling)--well, he is trying to tutor the aristocratic beau on how to be a pirate--not so successfully!  They all end up on an island and the fun keeps going.  Of course, all ends well--but how the story is told is all the fun!
